Why Should I Sign Up For Coaching With You?
My unique coaching approach can help you take control of your mental and physical health in a way that you didn’t think possible.
Working with me is a lot more than just one coaching session per week. I take a holistic approach with my coaching which will allow us to consistently evaluate and make positive changes to your physical activity, nutrition, habits & routines, and self-care.
How Do You Differ From Other Coaches?
For years, I struggled with my mental health. Although dealing with depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts was horrible, I’m glad I went through it all. It’s given me a real understanding of mental health issues and a passion to help those who find life to be a real challenge.
If you are someone who is having a tough time, I do understand many of the challenges you face because I’ve been there myself. I know how difficult it can be to look after yourself when you’re struggling with your mental health and I can sympathise in a way that perhaps some other coaches can’t.
What Qualifications Do You Have?
– BSc Sport and Exercise Science
– Personal Training & Fitness Instructing (Level 3)
– Mental Health First Aid Qualification
– Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
– First Aid Qualification
How Much Does Coaching Cost?
The cost of coaching may vary from client to client depending on your goals and needs.
If you want an estimation of cost, I will first need to know more about you and your goals.
Therefore, please either fill out this form or contact me.
How Long Are Coaching Sessions?
For the majority of clients, coaching sessions will last a maximum of one hour.
What Do I Get With Online Training?
The main components of online training are tailored training programs (through Truecoach), monthly assessments, progress reviews, and weekly check-ins.
However, depending on your goals and preferences there may be other features included such as Google Meets sessions, self-help handbook, nutritional tracking, and the community support group.
For In-Person, Do I Have To Be A Member Of Energy Gym?
No. By signing up for coaching, you can attend Energy Gym for sessions without having to be a member.
If you are a client and you wish to become a member of the gym, you may be eligible for a discounted membership (enquire with me directly if interested).
What If I’ve Never Been To The Gym Before Or Get Very Anxious About Going?
Over the years, I have gained a great deal of experience working with beginners and recognise how challenging the gym environment can be. However, feeling anxious and apprehensive is only natural. With practice and experience, you will begin to feel more confident and these feelings should subside in time.
I have also worked with many who have struggled with depression and anxiety and understand many of the difficulties that the gym environment can pose. If you struggle with a disorder, I will do all I can to ensure that you feel as comfortable and safe as possible.
What Nutritional Support Will I Receive?
As a coach, I will not provide you with a weekly meal plan. If this is something you are looking for, I recommend you contact a qualified nutritionist or dietitian.
That said, I am able to guide you with your nutrition to help you develop a better relationship with your food that will allow you to attain your physical and mental wellbeing goals.
What Is The Self-Help Handbook?
The handbook is a practical tool that contains a variety of helpful resources including sections on goal setting, recovery action planning, journaling & gratitudes, and lifestyle tracking.
A new and improved version of the self-help handbook is due for release in 2023.
How Long Before I Begin To See Results?
Most clients will begin to experience changes within four weeks or so.
That said, it’s important to understand that substantial change takes time. If you want to attain your goals, it’s crucial that you are patient, consistent, and trust the process.
